• Tooth Selection: Identify the appropriate tooth or teeth for placement of the rubber dam clamp. In this case, select teeth numbered 1, 2, 3, 17, 18, or 19.
• Clamp Selection: Choose the rubber dam clamp that matches the tooth morphology and location. Ensure the serrated jaws are suitable for lower left molars and partially erupted upper right teeth.
• Positioning: Carefully position the clamp’s beveled jaws around the tooth to ensure a secure fit. Ensure the bow connects the jaws properly.
• Compression: Apply gentle pressure to compress the clamp onto the tooth, ensuring a tight seal without causing discomfort to the patient.
• Rubber Dam Placement: Attach the rubber dam to the clamp, securing it in place over the tooth and creating a barrier around the treatment area.
