• Cutting: Align the blades of the scissors with the area you want to trim on the crown or band. Apply gentle pressure and make controlled, precise cuts. It is advisable to trim gradually, removing small increments at a time, to achieve the desired shape and contour.
• Visual Inspection: Periodically pause and visually inspect the progress of the trimming. This will help ensure that you are achieving the desired result and making necessary adjustments as you proceed.
• Finishing: Once the desired trimming is achieved, smooth any rough edges or surfaces using appropriate dental finishing instruments or techniques.
• Post-procedure: Clean the scissors thoroughly with appropriate cleaning agents and sterilize them again for future use. Follow proper infection control protocols and dispose of any disposable items according to local regulations.
