GDC Tissue Forceps Adson 1×2 12cm TP42

Adson Forceps: Forceps toothed at the tip used for handling dense tissue, such as in skin closures. These are ratcheted instruments used to hold tissue or objects or provide hemostasis. These can be traumatic or atraumatic. Adson Forceps are used for holding dressing materials such as cotton and gauze during surgical procedures, holding and manipulating delicate tissues, etc.

Indications:

• • Used to facilitate grasping, manipulation, or joining of tissue.
  • A self-retaining, scissors design with ring handles with the working end having a variety of blade designs
  • Tweezers-like design with two conjoined blades with serrated/toothed tips at the working end.

Direction to use :-

• Hold the tissue forceps (pencil grip, NOT palm grip)
• Hold forceps in the palm of your hand while performing the instrument knot.
• Extract the tissue with tissue forceps.
