GDC Lower Molar No.2C Pedo Extraction Forceps

The GDC Extraction Forceps Lower Molars Pedo Standard (FX2CS) is a specialized dental instrument designed specifically for the extraction of lower molars in pediatric dentistry. With a focus on the unique needs of young patients, these forceps provide a precise and reliable solution for dental extractions in children. Crafted from high-quality stainless steel, the forceps are built to withstand the demands of pediatric dental procedures while remaining durable and corrosion-resistant. The beaks of the forceps are carefully contoured to match the anatomy of pediatric lower molars, ensuring a secure and effective grip during extractions.

Direction to use :-

  • Prepare the patient: Ensure the patient is comfortable and properly positioned in the dental chair. Use appropriate anesthesia or sedation techniques to numb the area and minimize discomfort.
  • Choose the correct forceps: Verify that you have the GDC Extraction Forceps Lower Molars Pedo Standard (FX2CS) specifically designed for pediatric lower molars.
  • Grasp the forceps: Hold the forceps in your dominant hand, ensuring a firm and comfortable grip. Make sure your fingers are properly placed on the handles for optimal control.
  • Position the forceps: Locate the tooth to be extracted and position the beaks of the forceps around the crown of the molar. Ensure that the beaks are firmly gripping the tooth, providing a secure hold.
  • Apply controlled pressure: With a gentle and controlled motion, apply pressure to the tooth using the forceps. The pressure should be directed towards the root, loosening the tooth from its socket. Avoid excessive force to minimize trauma to surrounding tissues.
  • Utilize a twisting motion: While maintaining the pressure, add a gentle twisting or rotational motion to further loosen the tooth from the socket. This helps dislodge the tooth and facilitate extraction.
  • Lift and remove the tooth: Once the tooth is sufficiently loosened, carefully lift and remove it from the socket using the forceps. Be cautious to avoid damaging neighboring teeth or tissues during the extraction process.
  • Evaluate the extraction site: After extraction, inspect the extraction site to ensure all remnants of the tooth, including any roots or fragments, have been fully removed. If necessary, use additional dental instruments to clean the area thoroughly.
  • Provide post-extraction instructions: Advise the patient and/or their guardian on post-extraction care, including instructions for managing any discomfort, maintaining oral hygiene, and following a soft-food diet. Prescribe any necessary medications or recommend over-the-counter pain relievers as needed.

Warranty :- 6 months against rust
