Versatile, anatomically designed tray for accurate lower arch impressions

GDC Posterior Lower Impression Tray ITRLDPLA

The GDC Impression Tray Anterior and Posterior Lower (Itrldpla) is a dental tool designed to aid in taking accurate impressions of the lower arch of the mouth. It is specifically intended for use in dental procedures involving the anterior (front) and posterior (back) areas of the lower jaw. The impression tray is made of high-quality, durable material that ensures stability and rigidity during the impression-taking process. It features a perforated design that allows for even distribution of the impression material and efficient flow of excess material.

Direction to use :-

  • Prepare the impression material: Choose an appropriate dental impression material according to the specific procedure.
  • Ensure patient comfort: Communicate with the patient, explain the procedure, and ensure they are comfortable in the dental chair.
  • Inspect and clean the tray: Before use, inspect the impression tray for any defects or damage. Clean the tray using a suitable disinfectant or sterilization method as per dental practice protocols.
  • Load the tray with impression material: Apply the recommended amount of impression material onto the tray. Spread the material evenly, ensuring it reaches all areas of the tray.
  • Position the tray in the patient’s mouth: Place the loaded impression tray in the patient’s mouth, ensuring it covers the lower arch from the anterior to the posterior region. Guide the patient to close their mouth gently, maintaining a relaxed bite.
  • Allow the material to set: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended setting time for the chosen impression material. Maintain proper patient positioning during this time to prevent any movement or distortion.
  • Remove the tray: Once the impression material has been set, gently remove the tray from the patient’s mouth. Use a slow and steady motion to avoid any damage or distortion to the impression.
  • Inspect the impression: Carefully examine the impression for accuracy, capturing all necessary details of the lower arch. Ensure there are no voids or distortions that may affect the subsequent steps in the dental procedure.
  • Clean and disinfect the tray: After use, clean the impression tray thoroughly using an appropriate disinfectant or sterilization method as per dental practice protocols. Rinse and dry the tray before storing it for future use.
