Direction to use :-

Attaching a Surgical Blade:

  • Preparation: Ensure you have selected the appropriate surgical blade for the specific procedure.
  • Handle Inspection: Examine the KPQ handle to make sure it’s clean and in good condition.
  • Safety Precautions: Put on personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety glasses to minimize the risk of injury during the procedure.

Blade Attachment: Follow these steps to attach the surgical blade to the KPQ handle:

  • Identify the blade and handle connection point. The KPQ handle has a secure mechanism for blade attachment.
  • Hold the KPQ handle securely in one hand, ensuring a firm grip on the ergonomic grip.
  • With your other hand, hold the surgical blade by its non-cutting edge (the end that won’t be in contact with tissue).
  • Align the hole or slot in the blade with the connection point on the handle.
  • Gently but firmly slide the blade onto the handle, making sure it locks into place. You should hear or feel a secure click or connection.

Detaching a Surgical Blade:

  • Post-Procedure Assessment: After completing the surgical procedure, it’s time to detach the blade from the handle.
  • Safety Precautions: Continue to wear PPE to avoid accidental injuries.

Blade Detachment: Follow these steps to safely detach the surgical blade:

  • Ensure the KPQ handle and blade are no longer in contact with tissue or blood.
  • Hold the KPQ handle firmly in one hand, maintaining a secure grip on the ergonomic grip.
  • Use your other hand to locate the release mechanism on the handle. This is usually a lever or button designed for blade detachment.
  • Depress or operate the release mechanism as per the specific design of the KPQ handle. This should unlock the blade.
  • While continuing to operate the release mechanism, gently slide the blade away from the handle. It should disengage smoothly.
  • Safely dispose of the used blade in a sharps container following established safety and disposal protocols.

Warranty :- 6 months against rust
