 It is pushed in between the gums and the tooth exterior and used to loosen the tissue surrounding the tooth. It aids in expanding the alveolus walls and opening the gingival sulcus prior to extraction. Their standard handle design ensures precise application while their corrosion-resistant and passivated properties guarantee durability and hygiene.

Direction to use :- 

Prepare the Patient:

  • Ensure the patient is comfortable and properly positioned in the dental chair.
  • Administer local anesthesia to numb the tooth and surrounding area.

Select the Appropriate Elevator:

  • Confirm that GDC Root Elevators Seldin Standard (E4r) is the correct instrument for the tooth you plan to extract.

Inspect the Elevator:

  • Examine the elevator for any signs of damage or contamination. It should be clean and in good condition.

Position the Elevator:

  • Hold the elevator in your dominant hand with a firm and comfortable grip on the handle.

Apply Controlled Force:

  • Use controlled and gentle force to luxate (loosen) the tooth from the socket. Begin with slight pressure, gradually increasing as needed. 

Complete Extraction:

  • Once the tooth is sufficiently loosened and mobile, carefully elevate it from the socket using the elevator.
