GDC Anterior Sickle Scaler SCNEVI1
GDC Sickle Scalers Anterior Scnevi1 are precision dental instruments designed for the effective removal of tartar and plaque deposits from the tooth’s surface, particularly in the anterior (front) region. Their finely crafted, sharp, curved tips provide optimal access and control, making them ideal for supra-gingival cleaning. These scalers are crafted from high-quality stainless steel for durability and easy sterilization. They are essential tools in dental cleanings to maintain oral hygiene and are designed for professional use by dental practitioners and hygienists.
- For the removal of supragingival calculus and plaque from teeth.
- Scalers are used above the gum line, and curettes are used below it.
- Use of a scaler below the gum line is likely to damage the gingiva (gums).
- Scalers have pointed ends.
Direction to use :-
Preparation:
- Ensure that you are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect yourself and the patient from potential contamination.
Patient Positioning:
- Position the patient comfortably in the dental chair and adjust the chair’s headrest for better access to the oral cavity.
Examination:
- Use a dental mirror and explorer (if needed) to visually inspect the patient’s teeth and identify areas with visible tartar or plaque deposits.
Scaler Selection:
- Select the GDC Sickle Scalers Anterior #6 (Scnevi1) for supra-gingival cleaning, particularly on the anterior (front) teeth.
Scaler Orientation:
- Hold the scaler with the working end facing the tooth surface you intend to clean.
- Ensure that the curved, pointed tip is positioned correctly for effective scaling.
Scaling Technique:
- Place the scaler’s working end against the tooth surface, with the tip directed toward the gumline.
- Use gentle, controlled pressure to remove tartar and plaque deposits by moving the scaler in an upward or downward motion.
- Pay close attention to the anterior teeth, especially the lingual (tongue-side) surfaces and tight spaces between teeth.
Proper Angulation:
- Maintain proper angulation (approximately 70-80 degrees) between the scaler’s working end and the tooth surface to avoid damaging the gums.
Rinsing and Inspection:
- Periodically rinse the scaler and the patient’s mouth to remove debris and check the progress of cleaning.
- Use the dental mirror for better visibility and to ensure that deposits are effectively removed.
Repeat as Needed:
- Continue the scaling process on all the teeth in the anterior region, paying attention to areas with visible deposits.
- Be thorough but gentle to prevent gum irritation or damage.
Post-Scaling Care:
- After scaling is complete, instruct the patient to rinse their mouth thoroughly to remove any remaining debris.
- Provide post-scaling instructions for oral hygiene and schedule any necessary follow-up appointments.
Warranty :- 6 months against rust
