GDC Bifid Scaler SB4/8

The GDC Sickle Scalers Bifid Sb4/8 are precision dental instruments used for periodontal and dental hygiene procedures. These scalers feature a bifid working end with sharp, thin tips, making them ideal for removing calculus and plaque deposits from tooth surfaces and interproximal spaces. GDC Sickle Scalers Bifid  are essential tools in maintaining oral health by effectively removing tartar and promoting healthy gums. Their quality craftsmanship and durability make them a trusted choice for dental professionals.

Direction to use :-

  • Preparation: Before starting the procedure, ensure that you have properly sterilized the scaler to maintain a sterile environment.
  • Patient Preparation: Seat the patient comfortably in the dental chair and provide appropriate lighting and suction for the procedure.
  • Instrument Selection: Select the GDC Sickle Scalers Bifid  (Sb4/8) for the specific dental or periodontal procedure you are performing.
  • Operator Positioning: Position yourself in a way that provides a clear view of the tooth or teeth you will be working on. Maintain good posture to prevent fatigue during the procedure.
  • Patient Positioning: Instruct the patient to open their mouth wide enough to expose the teeth or areas requiring scaling. Use a bite block or mouth mirror to assist in keeping the mouth open comfortably.
  • Scaling Technique: Hold the scaler in a modified pen grasp, with the working end at the appropriate angle to the tooth surface you are scaling. Ensure that the tips of the scaler make contact with the calculus or plaque deposits.
  • Scaling Motion: Use controlled and gentle strokes to remove calculus and plaque. The bifid working end of these scalers allows for the effective removal of deposits from both tooth surfaces and interproximal areas.
  • Work Methodically: Begin scaling from the posterior teeth and work your way towards the anterior teeth. Pay special attention to the gumline and interproximal spaces, as these are common areas for deposits to accumulate.
  • Rinse and Evaluate: Periodically rinse the patient’s mouth and inspect the treated areas to ensure that all deposits have been effectively removed.
  • Post-Scaling Care: After scaling is complete, provide post-operative instructions to the patient for proper oral hygiene and care. Advise them on any follow-up appointments if needed.
  • Cleaning and Sterilization: After use, clean the scaler thoroughly and follow recommended sterilization protocols to prepare it for the next use.

Warranty :- 6 months  against rust
