Direction to use :- 

• Prepare the area: Ensure that the treatment site is clean and dry. Isolate the area with a dental dam or any other suitable method to maintain a dry working environment.
• Select the appropriate size cord: Choose a gingival cord of the appropriate size that fits snugly in the gingival sulcus without causing excessive pressure or discomfort to the patient.
• Moistening the cord: Moistening the gingival cord with a hemostatic solution or an astringent enhances its adaptability and control bleeding.
• Positioning the cord packer: Hold the GDC Gingival Cord Packer firmly and position the curved tip near the gingival margin, with the concave side of the tip facing the tooth.
• Placing the cord: Gently insert the gingival cord into the gingival sulcus using a slight rocking motion. Apply even pressure to ensure proper placement and adaptation of the cord.
• Repeat if necessary: If required, repeat the process in different areas of the tooth or multiple teeth to achieve complete gingival retraction.
• Verify placement: After placing the cord, inspect the gingival sulcus to ensure the cord is properly seated and adapted. Adjust or reposition if needed.
• Proceed with treatment: Once the gingival cords are in place, proceed with the restorative or periodontal procedure as planned, taking advantage of the retracted tissue for optimal results.
