Premium handle-filling Instrument for placing and contouring restorations

GDC Heidemann Spatula Premium Handle PFIHS1

The GDC Heidemann Spatula  (PFIHS1) is a dental instrument commonly used in restorative dentistry for finishing and shaping plastic filling restorations. It plays a vital role in the process of achieving proper contours and smooth margins for dental fillings, ensuring optimal aesthetics and functionality. The GDC Heidemann Spatula (PFIHS1) is a dental spatula with a specific design suitable for working with plastic filling materials, such as dental composites or glass ionomer cement. It is typically used in the final stages of a restorative procedure, where it aids in shaping and refining the restoration to achieve an ideal fit and appearance.

Dental Cement Spatula is used to mix, scoop and load cement into temporary restorations.

Direction to use :-

  • Preparation: Ensure that the dental filling material (e.g., composite or glass ionomer cement) is properly prepared and ready for placement.
  • Placement of Filling Material: After cavity preparation, place the filling material into the prepared cavity using appropriate placement instruments.
  • Initial Shaping: Use a suitable condenser or plugger to pack and condense the filling material into the cavity, achieving the basic contours and shape.
  • Finishing Margins with the GDC Heidemann Spatula : Take the GDC Heidemann Spatula # 6 and hold it with a comfortable grip, ensuring proper control and stability during use. Gently and precisely use the flat and smooth blade of the spatula to shape and refine the margins of the dental restoration. Work on the interface between the restoration and the tooth surface to create a smooth and well-adapted finish. Pay special attention to the margins, ensuring they blend seamlessly with the surrounding tooth structure and achieve proper anatomical contours.
  • Checking Occlusion: During the finishing process, check the occlusion (bite) to ensure that the restoration fits correctly within the patient’s bite and does not interfere with normal function.
  • Polishing (if applicable): After achieving the desired shape and fit, polishing procedures may follow to provide a smooth and glossy finish to the restoration.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: After each use, clean the GDC Heidemann Spatula thoroughly with an appropriate cleaning solution to remove any residual filling material. Rinse the spatula with water and dry it carefully using a clean, soft cloth.
  • Sterilization:s Sterilize the GDC Heidemann Spatula according to standard dental instrument sterilization protocols to ensure infection control and patient safety.

Warranty :- 6 months against rust
