Direction to use :-

• Ensure that the caliper is clean and free from any debris or contaminants.
• Hold the caliper by the handle with a firm grip.
• Gently open the caliper arms by sliding them apart.
• Position the tips of the caliper arms on either side of the area where the bone measurement needs to be taken.
• Slowly close the caliper arms by sliding them together until the tips firmly engage with the bone surface.
• Take note of the measurement displayed on the caliper scale.
• Carefully remove the caliper from the bone, ensuring not to disturb the surgical site.
• Record the measurement for future reference or documentation.
• Clean and sterilize the caliper after each use to maintain hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.
