GDC Impression Tray Dentulous Perforated Lower ITLRDPL1 Rimlock

The GDC Dentulous Perforated Impression Trays Lower #1 (ITRLDPL1) are dental trays specifically designed for taking accurate impressions of the lower arch in dentulous patients. These trays feature a perforated design, which allows for better control of the impression material and ensures proper flow and adaptation to the teeth and tissues. The trays are made of high-quality, rigid plastic material that provides durability and stability during the impression-taking process. They are designed to accurately capture the details of the lower arch, including the teeth, gingiva, and surrounding structures. The perforations in the trays allow for the escape of excess impression material, reducing the risk of distortion and ensuring a more accurate impression. They also facilitate better adhesion of the impression material to the tray, preventing any detachment during the impression process. These trays have smooth, rounded edges and a comfortable shape, ensuring patient comfort during the impression-taking process. The trays are designed to minimize any potential discomfort or irritation to the patient.

Direction to use :-

  • Prepare the tray: Ensure that the tray is clean and free from any debris or residue. If necessary, sterilize the tray according to recommended protocols.
  • Prepare the impression material: Select the appropriate dental impression material as per the dentist’s recommendation.
  • Seat the tray: Seat the lower arch tray in the patient’s mouth, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Position the tray so that it covers the entire lower arch, from one side of the mouth to the other.
  • Load the tray: Load the mixed impression material onto the tray using a suitable instrument, ensuring that the material is evenly distributed and covers all the necessary areas of the lower arch.
  • Insert the tray: Ask the patient to close their mouth gently but firmly, allowing the impression material to flow and adapt to the teeth and tissues. Make sure the tray remains stable and properly seated during this process.
  • Maintain stability: Maintain stability of the tray for the recommended setting time of the impression material, as specified by the manufacturer. This allows the material to be set properly and capture an accurate impression of the lower arch.
  • Remove the tray: Once the impression material has been set, carefully and gently remove the tray from the patient’s mouth. Use slow and controlled motions to minimize any potential distortion or damage to the impression.
  • Inspect the impression: Inspect the impression to ensure it is clear and accurate, and captures all the necessary details of the lower arch. If any areas appear incomplete or compromised, consider retaking the impression.
  • Clean and disinfect the tray: After removing the impression material, thoroughly clean and disinfect the tray using appropriate protocols and recommended solutions. Ensure the tray is completely dry before storage.
