• A multipurpose instrument used to clamp off blood vessels, remove small root tips, and grasp loose objects.
• Kelly Hemostatic Forceps are primarily used for clamping large blood vessels or manipulating heavy tissue.
• They may also be used for soft tissue dissection.
• They are available curved or straight with a ratcheted finger ring handle.
• Similar to Rankin forceps, the jaws of Kelly Forceps are 1/3 the length of the shanks and serrations are 1/2 the length of the jaws, however, Kelly forceps are shorter and heavier than Rankin forceps.

Direction to use :- 

• Prepare the Surgical Site: Ensure the surgical area is clean, sterile, and adequately illuminated.
• Hold the Scissors Properly: Grip the scissors firmly, aligning your fingers with the finger rings for precise control.
• Position the Scissors: Carefully position the curved blades over the targeted tissue, ensuring proper alignment for accurate cutting.
• Execute the Cut: Close the scissors blades gently to execute the cut, applying steady pressure as needed.
• Follow Surgical Protocols: Adhere to established surgical protocols and guidelines specific to the procedure being performed.
• Post-Cut Care: After use, clean the scissors thoroughly and sterilize them according to recommended medical instrument sterilization procedures.
