GDC Lower Root No.45 Extraction Forceps

Lower Roots Used for dental extraction (also referred to as tooth extraction, exodontia or exodontics): the removal of teeth from the dental alveolus (socket) in the alveolar bone. These are re specifically designed for the extraction of lower root teeth. They are made from high-quality stainless steel, ensuring their durability and longevity. The beaks of the forceps are designed to securely grip the root of the tooth, allowing for a strong and stable hold during the extraction procedure. The angled design of the forceps enables easy access and maneuverability, especially in areas of the mouth that are difficult to reach. This makes the extraction process more efficient and effective.

Direction to use :-

  • Prepare the patient: Ensure that the patient is comfortable and properly positioned in the dental chair. Administer local anesthesia to numb the area around the tooth to be extracted.
  • Select the appropriate forceps: Confirm that the Fx45s forceps are suitable for the specific tooth and root you intend to extract.
  • Grasp the forceps: Hold the forceps in your dominant hand, ensuring a firm and comfortable grip.
  • Position the forceps: Carefully place the beaks of the forceps around the root of the tooth to be extracted. Ensure that the beaks are securely and properly positioned to provide a strong grip.
  • Apply pressure: Gently apply controlled pressure to the forceps, directing it towards the root of the tooth. Use a twisting motion if necessary to help loosen the tooth from its socket.
  • Rock and elevate the tooth: Use the forceps to rock the tooth back and forth, applying gentle pressure to gradually elevate it from the socket. Be careful not to apply excessive force to avoid damaging surrounding tissues.
  • Extract the tooth: Once the tooth is sufficiently loosened and elevated, carefully and slowly lift it out of the socket using the forceps. Apply additional pressure if needed to ensure complete extraction.
  • Evaluate the extraction site: Inspect the extraction site to ensure that the entire root has been successfully removed. Clean the area and provide appropriate post-extraction care instructions to the patient.

Warranty :- 6 months against rust
