GDC Luxatip 3mm Contra Angle L3CA
The GDC Luxatip – 3mm Contra Angle (L3ca) is a dental instrument used for luxating or extracting teeth. It is designed with a 3mm working end. The luxatip is carefully crafted with high-quality materials to ensure durability and precision during dental procedures. Its ergonomic design provides comfortable handling and easy access to challenging areas in the oral cavity. The luxatip’s 3mm working end allows for efficient and controlled tooth movement, making it suitable for a variety of dental extractions. It is an essential tool for dental professionals, ensuring effective tooth extraction procedures with reduced trauma to surrounding tissues.
- Tips are more finely tapered than elevators tips.
- Combination of a Periotome and an elevator.
- The sharp tip enables more efficient cutting of the periodontal ligament, while the tapering shaft assists with controlled expansion of the bony socket.
- The extraction operation may be performed with the minimum amount of tissue damage.
Direction to use :-
- Prepare the patient: Ensure that the patient is properly seated and comfortable in the dental chair. Administer local anesthesia as necessary for the tooth extraction procedure.
- Select the appropriate Luxatip: Choose the Luxatip with the appropriate size and shape for the tooth that needs to be luxated or extracted.
- Gain access to the tooth: Use a dental mirror and explorer to gain access to the tooth and determine the proper angle for the Luxatip insertion.
- Insert the Luxatip: Insert the Luxatip into the periodontal ligament space between the tooth and surrounding bone. Apply controlled force to gently luxate the tooth and break the periodontal ligament.
- Rotate if necessary: Depending on the tooth and its positioning, you may need to rotate the Luxatip to effectively loosen the tooth.
- Elevate the tooth: Once the tooth is sufficiently luxated, use the Luxatip to elevate the tooth from its socket gently.
- Extract the tooth: Use dental forceps or other appropriate instruments to complete the tooth extraction, removing it from the socket.
- Rinse and clean: Rinse the area and ensure that it is free from any debris or fragments. Suture the extraction site if necessary.
- Post-operative instructions: Provide the patient with post-operative instructions and appropriate aftercare guidance.
