• Material: Orthodontic wax is typically made with a medical-grade paraffin-based wax, which is safe for oral use.
• Physical State: The wax is solid at room temperature, making it easy to handle and apply.
• Softening and Shaping: When warmed by the heat of the hands, the wax becomes pliable and can be easily shaped and molded.
• Adhesive Properties: Orthodontic wax is designed to stick to braces and other dental appliances, creating a protective barrier between the brackets and the gums.
• Gum Protection: The wax acts as a buffer, reducing friction and irritation caused by metal edges or rough surfaces of braces.
• Smooth Texture: Once applied, the wax remains smooth and comfortable in the mouth.
• Breakdown: Over time, the wax naturally breaks down and can flake away or be easily peeled off.

Directions to Use :- 

• Begin by washing your hands thoroughly to ensure cleanliness.
• Take a small piece of wax stick from the package. The amount needed may vary based on your personal preference and the size of the area you want to cover.
• Hold the wax stick between your thumb and index finger.
• Rub the wax stick gently with the warmth of your hands to soften it. This will make it pliable and easier to shape.
• Once the wax becomes soft and malleable, carefully mold it into a small ball or roll it into a cylindrical shape.
• Locate the area of your braces or dental appliance that is causing irritation or discomfort.
• Place the molded wax onto the metal edges or rough surfaces of the braces, ensuring it covers the area that is causing the irritation. Press it firmly but gently to ensure it adheres to the braces.
• Use your fingers to shape and smooth the wax, ensuring it creates a protective barrier between the brackets and your gums.
• Repeat the process as needed, applying additional wax if required to cover multiple areas or to provide extra protection.
