Direction to use :- 

Patient Preparation:

  • Ensure the patient is comfortably seated, and the treatment area is well-prepared for the scaling procedure.

Instrument Inspection:

  • Prior to use, inspect the scalers for any damage or defects. Ensure they are properly sterilized following standard infection control protocols.

Positioning:

  • Position yourself and the patient for clear visibility and access to the targeted posterior tooth surfaces.

Select Appropriate Scaler:

  • Choose the GDC Sickle Scalers Posterior suitable for the specific posterior tooth being scaled.

Grip Adjustment:

  • Hold the scaler in a modified pen or pen grasp, ensuring a comfortable grip that allows for precise control during scaling.

Supragingival Scaling:

Interproximal Access:

  • Utilize the sickle-shaped tip to access interproximal areas, ensuring thorough cleaning between posterior teeth.

Occlusal Surface Scaling:

  • Extend the use of the scaler to the occlusal surfaces of posterior teeth, addressing any deposits in fissures and pits.

Rinse and Evaluate:
