GDC Separating Lower Molar Extraction Forceps FX56S
Description :-
The GDC Extraction Forceps Separating Lower Molars – 56 Standard (FX56S) is a dental instrument specifically designed for the extraction of lower molars. It is used by dental professionals to safely and effectively remove lower molars from the dental alveolus (socket) in the alveolar bone. These forceps feature a unique design with curved beaks that allow for better access and grip on the lower molars, ensuring a secure hold during the extraction process. The beaks are designed to fit around the tooth structure, providing a stable and controlled extraction without causing excessive trauma to the surrounding tissues.
Direction to use :-
- Prepare the patient: Ensure the patient is positioned comfortably in the dental chair and administer any necessary local anesthesia or sedation.
- Inspect and diagnose: Assess the condition of the lower molars and determine the appropriate course of action for extraction. Take note of any existing dental work, pathology, or anatomical variations that may affect the extraction process.
- Prepare the instruments: Ensure that the FX56S forceps are clean and sterilized before use. Verify that the beaks of the forceps are aligned properly and in good working condition.
- Isolate the tooth: Use a dental dam or other appropriate isolation methods to protect the surrounding tissues and maintain a dry and clean operating field.
- Position the forceps: Hold the FX56S forceps in your dominant hand, with your thumb and fingers positioned correctly on the handles for a firm grip. Orient the beaks of the forceps to match the position of the tooth to be extracted.
- Engage the tooth: Carefully position the beaks of the forceps around the crown of the lower molar, ensuring a secure grip. The beaks should be placed as close to the gum line as possible, without applying excessive pressure on the surrounding tissues.
- Apply controlled force: Use a controlled and firm squeezing motion to apply force to the tooth, engaging the root structure. Gradually increase the force to loosen the tooth from its socket. Use controlled rocking and rotational movements if necessary, taking care not to apply excessive force or damage neighboring teeth or tissues.
- Extract the tooth: Once the tooth is adequately loosened, apply a gentle pulling motion to extract it from the socket. Maintain steady pressure and avoid sudden or jerky movements that could cause trauma to the surrounding area.
- Clean and inspect: Thoroughly clean the extraction site and inspect for any remaining root fragments or debris. Take appropriate measures to address any complications or bleeding that may arise.
- Provide post-extraction care: Advise the patient on proper post-extraction care, including instructions for pain management, wound healing, and oral hygiene practices. Prescribe any necessary medications or recommend follow-up appointments as needed.
Warranty :- 6 months against rust
