GDC Atraumatic Upper Premolar Extraction Forceps AFX7

The GDC Extraction Forceps Upper Premolars – 7 Atraumatic (AFX7) are dental instruments specifically designed for the extraction of upper premolar teeth. These forceps are crafted with precision and attention to detail to ensure safe and effective tooth extraction procedures. The Atraumatic design minimizes trauma to the surrounding tissues and preserves the integrity of the tooth socket. Made from high-quality stainless steel, the forceps offer exceptional strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. The beaks of the forceps are carefully shaped to provide a secure grip on the tooth, allowing for controlled and precise extraction. The ergonomic handle design ensures a comfortable grip and reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use.

Direction to use :-

  • Prepare the patient: Ensure that the patient is comfortably seated in the dental chair and adequately anesthetized for the extraction procedure.
  • Select the appropriate forceps: Verify that the AFX7 forceps are the correct instrument for extracting the upper premolar tooth.
  • Grasp the tooth: Hold the forceps handles in your dominant hand and open the beaks of the forceps wide enough to accommodate the tooth. Position the beaks around the crown of the tooth near the gum line, ensuring a firm and stable grip.
  • Apply controlled pressure: Gently close the forceps beaks, applying controlled pressure to the tooth. Avoid excessive force that may cause damage to the tooth or surrounding tissues.
  • Engage the root structure: Once the beaks have securely grasped the tooth, wiggle the forceps back and forth in a rotational motion to loosen the tooth from its socket. This helps to dislodge the tooth roots from the surrounding bone.
  • Apply traction: Apply steady and controlled traction to the tooth using the forceps. Use a combination of rotational and pulling movements to gently lift and remove the tooth from its socket.
  • Check for complete extraction: After removing the tooth, visually inspect the extraction site to ensure that the entire tooth, including the roots, has been successfully extracted. If any root fragments remain, additional steps may be required to remove them.
  • Provide post-operative instructions: Once the extraction is complete, provide the patient with appropriate post-operative instructions for pain management, oral hygiene, and any necessary follow-up care.

Warranty :- 6 months against rust
