It cuts wires close to the buccal tube and safely holds the distal ends. The tungsten carbide inserts ensure precision cutting, long wear, and unsurpassed cutting performance. The specialty of the hole: it allows cutting the distal end close to the bracket.

Direction to use :- 

• Preparation and Setup: Ensure that you have the necessary sterilized instruments and equipment ready for the procedure.Put on appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves and eyewear.
• Identify the Wire to Cut: Identify the orthodontic wire that needs to be trimmed. This is often a wire that extends beyond the last bracket or attachment.
• Grasp the Wire: Hold the orthodontic wire firmly with appropriate orthodontic pliers or instruments, ensuring that the wire is stable and properly positioned.
• Position the Cutter: Position the GDC Orthodontics Cutter TC Distal End Cutter’s blades in a way that aligns with the point where you want to cut the wire.
• Cut the Wire: Using controlled pressure, close the cutter’s blades to cut the orthodontic wire. The TC (Tungsten Carbide) blades should provide clean and precise cuts.
• Check the Cut: Examine the cut end of the wire to ensure that it’s smooth and even. There should be no sharp edges or protrusions that could cause discomfort to the patient’s oral tissues.
• Dispose of Cut Wire Safely: Dispose of the cut portion of the orthodontic wire in the appropriate sharps or waste container.
• Patient Comfort and Adjustment: After trimming the wire, make sure the patient’s comfort is not compromised. Check that the cut end of the wire is not causing irritation or discomfort to the soft tissues of the mouth.
• Cleaning and Sterilization: After the procedure, clean and sterilize the GDC Orthodontics Cutter TC Distal End Cutter according to established infection control protocols.
