Direction to use :- 

• Choose the appropriate size of the instrument based on the wire size and the patient’s mouth.
• Sterilize the instrument before use to ensure proper infection control.
• Hold the instrument with a firm grip on the handle, using the dominant hand.
• Adjust the sliding mechanism to the desired opening size by gently sliding the top part of the gauge up or down.
• Place the orthodontic wire between the two prongs of the gauge.
• Gently close the gauge around the wire, making sure that the wire is aligned with the markings on the sides of the gauge.
• Read the measurement indicated on the gauge and record it for future reference.
• Remove the wire from the gauge and repeat the process with any additional wires that need to be measured.
• Sterilize the instrument again after use for future use
