GDC Towner Jacquette Sickle Scaler SU15/30
The GDC Sickle Scalers Towner – Jacquette #6 (Su15/30) are specialized dental instruments designed for the removal of supragingival calculus and plaque from teeth. Featuring a Towner-Jacquette design with a sickle-shaped tip, these scalers effectively navigate and scale above the gum line. The #6 configuration makes them suitable for various tooth surfaces. The curved shape allows for the efficient removal of deposits in hard-to-reach areas. Crafted with precision, these scalers provide optimal tactile sensitivity for dental professionals. They play a crucial role in maintaining oral hygiene by effectively addressing supragingival deposits, contributing to overall dental health, and preventing the progression of periodontal diseases.
- For the removal of supragingival calculus and plaque from teeth.
- Scalers are used above the gum line, and curettes are used below it.
- Use of a scaler below the gum line is likely to damage the gingiva (gums).
- Scalers have pointed ends.

- Sequential Scaling: Progress systematically across the tooth surfaces, scaling each area thoroughly. Pay special attention to areas with visible deposits.
